Home / Connaught Gardens & Peak Hill Slope
Connaught gardens are nearly 70 years old and still retain the unique character that makes them the special place they are today. The gardens contain a fine range of plants that thrive in the temperate climate, including a new herbaceous bed by the main lawn. The South West Coast Path runs through Peak Hill Slope and it is a popular stopping point on a long walk.
Since their opening, Connaught Gardens have provided a backdrop for many different activities, including music, theatre and art exhibitions, and most weeks throughout the summer there is a least one band performing - the notice board by the steps from Manor Road lists all the forthcoming events.
