Elegant 18thC house built for the Acland family with first floor exhibition of costumes one of the best in the South West. The exhibition changes each year. Eighteen acre gardens with an unusual range of trees and shrubs collected by the Victorian plant hunters. Wonderful herbaceous borders. Victorian laundry, ice house, bear hut and chapel. For 2005, the theme is the male peacock, an exhibition of mens and ladies high society costume from the C18.

From M5 southbound: leave at J28, go through Cullompton on B3181, follow brown tourism signs for Killerton on B3181 heading towards Broadclyst.
From M5 northbound: exit J30. Follow signs for B3181 Pinhoe/Broadclyst. Killerton is signposted on brown tourism signs. Go through Pinhoe, then Broadclyst on B3181. Killerton is shortly after leaving the village of Broadclyst, turning on the left.
