South Devon is shaped by a landscape of contrasts, from high wild moorland to wooded river valleys, secret creeks and tidal estuaries.

 

Teignmouth

Dawlish - Part Victorian and part Regency, the seaside town of Dawlish has a special charm and character. Situated on Brunel's stunning South Devon Coast Railway, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world, Dawlish has been a popular seaside resort since the 18th century.

Newton Abbot - Newton Abbot today is a substantial shopping and commercial centre, the largest in South Devon, with all the usual superstores and high street names in attendance.

Teignmouth - The quintessential Devon resort town, Teignmouth will lay claim to your affections the minute you arrive. Most of its history is wrapped up with its harbour, with fishing, and with clay from up the valley at Bovey Tracey.
